Welcome to Michael Kirste Fotografie. I'm a passionate nature and landscape photographer based in Cologne, Germany. My photographic focus are nature scenes and landscapes in my home country Rhineland as well as in North America, Scotland, Iceland, and Dolomites. For photographing, I'm using Canon EOS DSLR cameras with lenses from 16 to 200mm and different types of filters.

During my hikes and photo tours I always experience how beautiful and unique our world is. With my photos, I would like to capture this beauty and uniqueness of nature and share it with my audience. I'm always trying to show nature from its beautiful, wild and untouched side. I hope you can feel my enthusiasm for nature by viewing the photos.
